Minimum rental period is 24 hours (Monday-Thursday Only)
Drivers must be over the age of 30 – please consult for a full list of age applicable for all cars.
Drivers must hold a current valid UK or International driving license and must have held same for at least 3 years or 5 years, dependant on the type of vehicle hired.
We also require an additional proof of identity such as a passport or National Identity Card and proof of address dated within the last 3 months and showing the same address as your driving licence.
If the vehicle is returned more than 1 hour late, an extra day’s rental will be charged.
If an extension to the hire period is required, we must be notified at least 4 hours prior to the end of the booked rental period, failure to do so will result in additional costs being incurred.
Payment can be accepted by credit card, debit card and bank transfer.
A 50% booking fee of the total hire fee will be taken if the hire is more than 14 days in advance, the balance payment will be due 14 days prior to the start date, for all bookings within the 14 day period, the total hire fee will be required 7 days prior to booking.
Payment made by bank transfer must be cleared funds showing on our account prior to the hire start date.
The hirer agrees that the vehicle is only to be used on public roads and for normal driving purposes, the vehicle will not be used for couriering, or on any sort of Rally, Track Day, Racing or Speed Testing. The vehicle is also not permitted to be used for hire or reward and/or used for
the carriage of goods of an explosive, dangerous, hazardous nature or for the carriage of any illegal good or for any other form of profit or remuneration.
The vehicle cannot be used off the public highway without is giving prior consent, the hirer accepts full responsibility for all damage incurred, and using the vehicle or for any of the above will result in the loss of the complete security deposit.
The rental quote includes comprehensive cover for authorised drivers, although an insurance excess does apply, amount of the excess depends on which vehicle you have rented/hired and is shown at booking and on our tariff page.
The security deposit will be held by us for the duration of the hire, security deposit is taken to cover the insurance excess in the case of damage to the vehicle during the hire period.
The insurance cover applies only to the public highway in the UK only.
If the driving licence of the hirer or any additional drivers contains any current endorsements, these must be declared prior to booking.
Only the persons named on the hire agreement are insured to drive the vehicle. If anyone other than the persons named on the hire agreement is found to be driving the vehicle, the security deposit will be considered at a total loss, we will also seek prosecution for driving without insurance.
Rates include comprehensive cover for the authorised drivers only.
All hirer/rentals require a security deposit to be paid on a credit, debit card or bank transfer prior to the hire commencing.
The security deposit will be deemed at a total loss if the driver/hirer causes an accident whereby a claim is made against our insurance policy.
If the hirer is involved in an accident, we will hold the security deposit until it is confirmed that no insurance claim will arise against our insurance policy or hirer (non fault).
If the hire vehicle is damaged whilst on hire, the hirer agrees to pay for all damage. The cost of the repairs will be quoted by our approved Bodyshop only. In the event of the claim being for the total loss of the insured vehicle, the excess shall be 25% of the market value of the vehicle.
Any damages caused by abuse to the vehicle including, but not limited to, excessive tyre wear and excessive revving will be charged to the hirer. Your liability in the case of abuse to the vehicle is not limited to the amount of the security deposit.
Strictly NO SMOKING is allowed in any vehicles.
Excessive stone chips on the vehicle will be deemed to be damage and will be charged for accordingly.
If excessive speed is detected, you will be given a warning. If you ignore this warning and continue to travel at excessive speed, the security deposit held by us will be considered a total loss.
As the hirer, you agree to pay the daily tariff rate for each day that the vehicle is off road for repair in the event of damage/excessive wear caused by you or hirer.
If the vehicle is stolen during the hire period, the hirer is responsible to pay the first 25% or vehicles excess, whichever is greater.
If the vehicle is stolen by you, the hirer or if you are deemed to be in connivance with the theft, your liability is for the full market value of the vehicle.
All vehicles are fitted with a telematics device which will record your journey.
All accidents must be reported within 2 hours quoting the registration number of the vehicle involved to the following number: 0203 904 4483 / 07483 130 651 And an accident form completed within 24 hours of the accident. Failure to do this may result in the insurance cover becoming invalid.
There is a daily mileage allowance for each vehicle of 100 miles per 24 hours. Additional mileage travelled will be charged at £4.50 per mile.
Extra mileage can be pre-booked, however any unused pre-booked miles are non-refundable.
All vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as given to them. The hirer is responsible for ensuring the correct fuel is used and if returned with less a full tank, the hirer will be charged £2 per litre. If the wrong fuel is used, the hirer is liable for all costs including recovery, drainage and repair.
The hirer is responsible for the payment of all toll charges, including London Congestion Charge and/or Dart charge.
The hirer is fully responsible for any motoring or traffic offences, toll or parking charges, penalties and fines arising in relation to the vehicle for the duration of the load are the hirers sole responsibility under the road traffic act 1984, the road traffic offender’s act 1988 and/or any subsequent relevant legalisation. The hire will indemnify the company forthwith for any penalties, fines, legal fees, costs, interest or other charges paid by them in relation to any such motoring or traffic offences or toll parking charges.
Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge which is as follows: Cancellation 14 days or more prior to the start date of the hire: 25% of the total hire charge. Cancellation 7-14 days prior to the start date of the hire: 50% of the total hire charge. Cancellation 7 days fewer prior to the start date of the hire: 75% of the total hire charge.
